But concised, I see a pattern trail in the charge that goes way back to the LRA days:
THE VERY SAME FACTORS THAT LEAD TO THE PROLONGED IDP CAMP PERIOD ARE VERY MUCH LIVE AND CURRENT IN THE MADHVANI SUGAR FACTORY INVESTMENT IN AMURU!!!!!
Yes I say INVESTMENT because that is what it is. THE MADHVANI SUGAR FACTORY IS AN ASSET TO POSITIVE SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT: A GIVEN TOOL FOR CULTURE DEVELOPMENT!
The conflict itself is out-blown scare mixture of " OKWON / OKWAN" ( BACKWARD OR PRIMITIVE) political rave game and "YWEKA" ( FAME).
Our people got confined longer than necessary, to perseverence of the worst form of destitution in those filthy IDP CAMPS because of the politics of Okwon and Yweka!!!
THE CATEGORY POLITICAL ACTORS ARE VERY MUCH THE SAME!!!!!
THEY ARE NOT THINKING SOLUTIONS BUT PROBLEMS ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bail me out a while here: MIGHT YOU HAVE HEARD OR SEEN ANY ALTERNATIVE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS BEING LIFTED UP AND WEIGHED AGAINST THE SUGAR FACTORY? If you do, furnish me ((I missed on that)).
WHY?!?! Is it because they have plenty alternatives on the kick off?! Where are the feasibility reports? I surely don't see it!

Help me here, when you say that you support development, do you mean that those opposed to the method used by government to take their land against development? Is asking for transparency on land acquisition equivalent to rejecting development? What I read in the papers is people protesting the forceful methods used to take away their ancestral land.
As a person who oversees our customary land for our clan, I will surely oppose anyone who tries to take it away from us without negotiations or a peaceful agreement. I am pretty sure that President Museveni cannot easily give up Rwakitura land in the name of development to benefitt Banyankole even though is a president; neither would Otafire nor Jimmy Muhwezi would surrender their property. Would that mean those gentlemen are against development!
Please clarify for me, it looks I am missing something.

Is Hon Ogenga Latigo also a member of the APG?
As there are Acoli on either sides, I do not know how to interprete or evaluate mandate and views of this Acoli Parliamentary Group.
So, at this point I can not with certainty comment on it. Suffice here to say, as far as the Amuru Sugar factory is concerned, I see much more utility in it than any other alternative. In essence, I am pro the development project.
WE NEED TO TAKE A NEWER MODERNARE PERSPECTIVE TO LAND (URBAN AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT PERSPECTIVE).
