SV: {UAH} Scores killed in Mbale-Tororo road accident

Gwokto,
Omera,I do not know what goes on in the heads of Ugandan when it comes to traffic awareness.
I don't know how they think..., the whole bunch from the Traffic authorities, the police, the drivers, boda-boda riders and the general public along the roads. They are crazy!!!

Half of the drivers of public transport and cargo transport vehicles would not be on the roads had strict regulations been followed!

A couple of months back while we were driving to Gulu from Kampala, I counted more than 8 overturned lorries/trucks. They tell me that's on a good period!! They tell me Kampala Gulu road is nicknamed Death road.

One night, I drove the same stretch from Gulu to Kampala. It was my first time to drive in the evenings in Uganda.

Good Lord, what a nightmare!!
No one and I mean no one driver I met switched over to half light but beamed the fullest even with extra lights!

Some drive kilometers with indicators on as if they intend to branch off but, they never do.

My hypothesis is that it is because they don't really go to traffic schools and, those who do, are not thoroughly trained

Let the heads of the traffic authorities along with traffic researchers be driven in the night and they'll know better.
