From a theft scare to a bloody Robbery,the untold story behind Oliver's killing

A few minutes to 9pm of Tuesday 12th March 2018,gun shots were heard in Ayago,a suburb of Railways Division in Lira municipality.As we tried to gather details, it would later emerge that an innocent Oliver Akello, a mobile money attendant breathed her last to the gun shots. She didn't die alone, Joseph Otim, another trader was also gunned down by the thugs whose target was money.
The following morning,police rounded up six people to aid them investigations
In this piece ,we bring you the untold story of how Akello lost her life.
As you read this story, the police at Lira Central police station are holding a Lady whose name we shall not reveal for obvious reasons ( protecting investigation).This Lady according to impeccable sources has been in connivance with top criminals in Lira town and their missions revolved around robbing mobile money points in town. However there tactics is to use the gun to scare their victims other than shooting.
What went Wrong?
On that fateful day,the lady is said to have used her Mobile phone to call Oliver Akello(RIP) who was her friend and asked to be lent 200,000 shillings.
"I personally don't have money,but my boss has just sent me some cash to buy floats, if you are sure of paying me back in a few days time,I can bail you out" Akello responded to her friend who would later mastermind the robbery that ended her her life.A ware that The decreased is in possession of liquid cash, the lady suspect then phoned her gang and gave them a proper location of the mobile money point with clear instructions as usual that the gun only be used to scare Akello in bid to make away with the cash.
A Good deal Goes bad.
Our sources have it that ,upon arrival at the mobile money shop,the armed robbers pulled out their guns with intent to put the victim on gun point so as they can rob her clean,but it so happened that on a glance they noticed she knows them,and this how they arrived at the idea of "deleting evidence"-in this case they opted to kill her.The deceased we are told bowed down under her table to grab the bag and run away but as she lifted up her head,it met a bullet.
How Otim Died!
Upon seeing the lifeless body of Akello,Otim who had just returned to close his shop also rushed to pick the bag and save the money from the robbers but he ended up being gunned down.
