The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is set to anger the National Super Alliance (NASA) after saying it does not have forms 34A as demanded by the opposition.

IEBC through its social media channels has claimed that it only has forms 34B which are a reflection of what is contained in forms 34A.

The electoral body now says forms 34A are with Returning Officers (ROs) who are based at the constituency level.

"You cannot have constituency aggregate results in form 34B before polling station 34As. The Courts made it possible for the Constituency RO to tally and make the summary in 34B and send to Bomas> The ROs have all their respective 34As," IEBC said on Facebook.

A reported by TUKO.co.ke, NASA had written to the IEBC demanding for the forms as seeks to firm its claims that the election was rigged in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

IEBC in turn regretted it couldn't provide the forms immediately but promised to work round the clock to get them for NASA.

Forms 34A are crucial for the opposition as they show results entered at polling centres and signed by agents of various parties.

After being send to the constituency tallying centre, the results are transferred into forms 34B which are then sent to the national tallying centre for announcement of final results.

NASA is set to make a 'major announcement' Wednesday, August 16 after indicating it will not take the matter to court.
